WHAT DOES WIJS TUITORING DO?

WIJs Bijles actively combats inequality of opportunity in Dutch education by offering tutoring for every child.

Parents/guardians who pay for tutoring at WIJs for their own child also pay for the tutoring of another child for whom tutoring is not accessible for whatever reason.

WIJs offers free tutoring for these children.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs)

WIJs Bijles is actively committed to various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Our mission focuses mainly on SDG 4 (quality education), because we believe that every child has the right to equal educational opportunities. By offering tutoring for every child, we contribute to reducing educational inequality (SDG 10) and combating poverty (SDG 1). WIJs Bijles also works on SDG 17 (partnerships for the goals) by involving parents and caregivers in our model of shared responsibility for accessible education. Together we strive for a fairer and more inclusive future for all children in the Netherlands.
